So here's something that made me laugh today ;
*Students were attempting a POA qn in class.
Teacher wanted to go through and read the qn out loud.
She read this name, "Gigi" and paused for a moment.*
Teacher: Eh, Gigi is malay word right? Its sth like, crazy right?
Nina: No la, it means teeth.
Teacher: Huh? I thought its a short form of giler.
*Whole class laughs. Teacher paused for a moment, again.*
Teacher: Im just wondering if malay has singular/plural differences.
Like English.. Maybe, GigiS?
Tinie: Ya, got. When its plural, just repeat the word twice.
Teacher: You mean like, GIGIGIGI?
*Class laughs*
Tinie: Ya, correct. HAHA.
Teacher: But what if I want to say three teeth?
Do I say it as, GIGIGIGIGIGI?
*Whole class burst laughing*
Me: That's it, its uncontrollable now!
*Teacher still sits wondering more malay words.*
Darren: Then what about babi?
Teacher: Oh ya! So if I want to scold ALL of you, I say,
"you all are like, babi babi." Right?
*Class laughs*
Darren said sth else. But censored ahh :P
